Honors Algebra 1 (Hour 2) - Remind: @Hpattalg1
SEE GOOGLE CLASSROOM!!!!!
While we are away from school, students will be working on their Algebra content via Edgenuity.com. (click link)
I am expecting you to take notes while going through the videos and practice assignments.
You can than use these notes on the quizzes and tests.
Completing sections will count as your homework/assignment grades,
while quizzes/tests will count as you checkpoint grades.
Scheduled Units:
Patterson_Algebra1_Exponential Functions is the first one you should complete.
This is an add on to what we started with our Investigations at school.
Investigations from school:

https://www.desmos.com/calculator/95ur3fxs1k
https://www.desmos.com/calculator/pklpryehyq
Help on growth and decay:
y = a*b^x where a=initial, b=rate, and x=time
a is also your y-intercept and what your value is at x=0
b is always your rate and what should have the exponent on it
For percentages: Growth add to 1.00 and Decay subtract from 1.00 (Growth of 2% = 1.02, Decay of 305 is .70)
When using calculator, always do your rate to the exponent first and then multiply by a

Transformations Mixed:

Vertical Stretch/Shrink:
a > 1 is a stretch and a < 1 is a shrink
